Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Breeziah Travel collects when you use breeziah.com or the Breeziah mobile app, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to everyone who visits the site, submits an enquiry, uses our AI trip planner, creates an account in the Breeziah mobile app, or travels with us.

1.Information We Collect

We only ask for what we need to plan and run your trip. Depending on how you use the site, that may include:

  • Contact details you submit — your name, phone number and email address, entered through an enquiry form, callback request, itinerary download or the AI trip planner.
  • Trip preferences — destination, travel dates, duration, number of travellers, group type, budget range and interests.
  • Booking and travel information — traveller names, ages, government ID details where a hotel or permit authority requires them, pickup and drop points, and any accessibility or dietary needs you tell us about.
  • Payment records — the amount, date and reference number of payments made to us. Payments in the app are taken through Razorpay's own checkout, so your card, UPI or net-banking details are entered directly into Razorpay and are never seen or stored by us — we keep only the payment reference and status Razorpay returns. We do not operate a payment gateway on the website.
  • Reviews and media you choose to send us, including photographs and videos from your trip.
  • Technical and usage data collected automatically — IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, referring page and approximate location derived from your IP.

2.How We Use Your Information

  • To respond to your enquiry and prepare a quote or itinerary.
  • To make bookings on your behalf with hotels, homestays, transport operators, guides and permit authorities.
  • To send you trip documents — itineraries, vouchers, invoices and pre-departure information.
  • To contact you before, during and after your trip by phone, WhatsApp or email for trip coordination and support.
  • To generate a personalised draft itinerary when you use our AI trip planner.
  • To improve the website and understand which pages and packages travellers find useful.
  • To send occasional offers or travel updates, where you have asked to receive them. Every such message includes a way to opt out.
  • To meet legal, tax and record-keeping obligations.

3.Services and Partners We Share Data With

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where it is needed to run the site or deliver your trip:

  • Travel suppliers — hotels, homestays, transport operators, guides and permit authorities receive the traveller details required to confirm your booking and issue permits such as the Arunachal Pradesh Inner Line Permit.
  • Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager — website usage and traffic analytics.
  • Vercel — website hosting and anonymous performance analytics.
  • Google Sheets — enquiry and trip-planner submissions are recorded in a private internal spreadsheet accessible only to our team.
  • Google Gemini (Google AI) — when you use the AI trip planner, the trip details you enter are sent to Google's generative AI service to produce your draft itinerary.
  • Sanity — the content management system that stores our tour, blog and review content, including any review or photograph you ask us to publish.
  • WhatsApp (Meta) — if you choose to contact us through WhatsApp, that conversation is subject to WhatsApp's own privacy policy. We also use WhatsApp to send app sign-in codes and trip updates to the number on your account.
  • Razorpay — processes payments made in the app. You enter your card, UPI or net-banking details into Razorpay directly; we receive only the reference and the result.
  • Our own servers — your account, profile, posts, group messages, bookings and trip plans are stored on infrastructure we operate, in a database that is not shared with any other business.
  • Professional advisers and authorities — where disclosure is required by law.

4.The Breeziah App

The Breeziah mobile app requires an account, so it collects some things the website does not. Everything below is in addition to the information described above.

  • Your mobile number — this is your account. We send a six-digit code to confirm it belongs to you. The code is stored only as a one-way hash, expires in five minutes, can be used once, and is never reused.
  • Your profile — your name, home city, an optional email address, a username, an optional short bio and, if you add one, a profile photo. Your name, username, bio and photo are visible to other travellers.
  • What you post — photographs, captions, comments, likes and who you follow. Anything you post to the feed is visible to other signed-in travellers.
  • Group messages — messages and photos you send in a trip group are stored on our servers so the group has a history, and are visible to other members of that group and to the Breeziah team.
  • Trip plans — the answers you give the trip planner, including party size, dates, budget range, hotel preference and any notes you write.
  • Travel companions — if you add a companion by mobile number so they can see a shared voucher or invoice, we store that number to match it to their account.
  • Sign-in records — the platform you signed in from (iOS, Android or web) and the times your session was created or refreshed, so we can end sessions and investigate abuse.

The app contains no advertising, no third-party analytics and no tracking software. We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not sell or share your information with data brokers.

5.Permissions the App Asks For

Each permission is requested at the moment you use the feature that needs it, never on launch, and the app works without any of them. You can change your mind at any time in your device settings.

PermissionWhyIf you say no
CameraTo take a profile photo or a photo for a post. You can still choose an existing picture, or skip photos entirely.
PhotosTo choose an existing picture for your profile or a post. You can still take a new photo, or skip photos entirely.
LocationOnly when you tap to attach a place to something you are posting. We read your position at that moment and do not track you in the background. You can type a place name instead.

6.Deleting Your Account

You can delete your Breeziah account and the personal information attached to it at any time. There are two ways to ask:

  • In the app: open the Profile tab and scroll to the bottom — “Delete account” sits under Sign out.
  • By email: write to info@breeziah.com from the address on your account, or message us on WhatsApp from your registered number. We will verify it is you before acting.

Deleting your account removes your profile, photo, posts, comments, likes, follows, trip plans and saved trips, and detaches your group messages from your name. Your account stops working immediately and disappears from the app. Your personal data is then held for 30 days so we can restore it if you change your mind, and is destroyed after that.

Two things survive deletion, and only these: booking, invoice and payment records, which Indian tax and accounting law requires us to keep for a fixed period; and any review or photograph you asked us to publish, which we remove on request. Neither is linked to a usable account once your account is gone.

7.Cookies and Tracking

breeziah.com uses cookies and similar technologies for two purposes: to make the site work correctly, and to measure how it is used through Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles of individual visitors.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work as intended if you do.

8.How Long We Keep It

  • Enquiries that do not result in a booking: retained for up to 24 months, so we can pick up the conversation if you come back to us.
  • Booking, invoice and payment records: retained for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
  • Analytics data: retained according to the default retention period of the analytics provider.
  • Reviews and photographs you have asked us to publish: retained until you ask us to remove them.
  • App account data — your profile, posts, comments, group messages, trip plans and saved trips: retained while your account exists, and deleted when you delete it. See “Deleting Your Account” below.
  • Sign-in codes: deleted or expired within minutes. Sessions end when you sign out or ask us to end them.

9.Your Rights

You can ask us at any time to:

  • Tell you what personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct anything that is inaccurate or out of date.
  • Delete your information, where we are not required to keep it for legal or accounting reasons.
  • Stop sending you marketing messages.
  • Withdraw a consent you previously gave.

Write to info@breeziah.com and we will action your request within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity first. These rights reflect our obligations under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

10.Security

The site is served over HTTPS, and access to enquiry records, bookings and invoices is restricted to authorised team members. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security — but we will tell you promptly if a breach affects your information.

11.Children

We do not knowingly collect information directly from children under 18. Where children travel with you, we collect only the details needed for their bookings and permits, provided by the accompanying adult.

12.Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our services or the law change. The current version is always published on this page with its revision date. This version was last updated on 5 August 2026.
