Travelling to Northeast India from abroad

Northeast India, planned for international travellers

Living root bridges, one-horned rhinos, Himalayan monasteries and festivals you won't see anywhere else. It's one of the least-visited parts of India, partly because the permits and logistics put people off. We handle those for you.

  • Airport pickup included

On every package, at Guwahati or Bagdogra.

  • Permits filed by us

    Sikkim, Arunachal, Nagaland and more.

  • English-speaking drivers

And a guide whenever you want one.

  • Prices in your currency

Shown in dollars, pounds, euros and more.

How it works

Four steps from home to the hills

You handle the visa. We handle everything after it.

  1. Step 1: Get your e-Visa

Apply at indianvisaonline.gov.in at least 4 days before you fly. Your passport needs six months' validity.

  2. Step 2: Choose your route with us

Tell us your dates and interests. We send a day-by-day plan with a fixed price.

  3. Step 3: We file your permits

If your route needs one, we apply on the government's e-FRRO portal. Allow 30 days.

  4. Step 4: We meet you at the airport

Your driver waits at Guwahati or Bagdogra arrivals with your name on a sign.

Breeziah Travels did an amazing job planning our Assam–Kaziranga safari and Meghalaya trip. From pristine waterfalls to the trek to the Double Decker Root Bridge and its hidden falls, every experience was seamless. Highlights included Krang Shuri Falls, the magical Nongjrong village sunrise, and the adventurous Krem Chympe and other caves. A special mention to our driver, Ram Ramba, for being incredibly reliable and supportive throughout. Huge thanks to Roshan and Nyota for their patience and flexibility in accommodating our last-minute changes and ensuring everything went smoothly. Highly recommend Breeziah Travels for a well-curated and hassle-free travel experience!

Tawang Tour · Google review

The best tour and travel group in North East India. We booked 8 days and 7-night trip to ARUNACHAL PRADESH. We covered Kaziranga, Bhulalukpong, Dirang, Bumla Pass, Tawang, Gongkar la lake, and Shergaon. They planned and executed the trip very well. All the hotels they provided were far beyond expectations. Thank you, Breeziah. Love from Kolkata.

FAQs

Questions international travellers ask us

Is Northeast India safe for foreign tourists?

Assam, Meghalaya, Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh are visited by foreign travellers every year. Check your government's travel advice, especially for Manipur, and travel with a registered operator who knows current conditions.

Do I need a permit for Shillong and Cherrapunji?

No. Meghalaya needs no permit for foreign tourists, only a valid Indian visa.

Can I pay in US dollars?

Yes. Pay by card link or PayPal in your own currency, and your card provider converts it. Quotes and invoices are in Indian rupees.

Is airport pickup included?

Yes. Every package includes pickup and drop at the arrival airport.

How far ahead should I book?

5–6 weeks if your route needs a permit, since permits take about 30 days. For Assam and Meghalaya alone, 2 weeks is usually enough.

Can I get the permit on arrival?

No. Since 2026, permits for foreigners are issued only online through e-FRRO, before you travel.
