Mirik
Mirik is a small lake town at about 1,500 m, roughly 50 km from both Siliguri and Darjeeling. Sumendu Lake with its footbridge and boats, orange orchards and tea estates around it, and Bokar Monastery above the town. An easy half-day stop between NJP and Darjeeling.
