About this experience
Krang Suri is a waterfall in the Jaintia Hills that drops into a pool of startling blue, where you can swim with a life jacket. About 30 km on is Dawki, where the Umngot river is so clear the boats seem to float. Together they make a long, full day from Shillong.
We leave Shillong early so you reach Krang Suri soon after it opens, then drive on to Dawki for a boat ride before heading back. One price covers the car and driver for up to 4 people; entry, life jackets and boats are paid at the spot.
