Meghalaya needs no permit for Indian nationals — the paperwork is hotel ID and forest entry only.

No ILP or restricted-area permit.

No permit for Meghalaya, but registration at the hotel is mandatory.

Sohra and Dawki sell out for December, and Shillong fills for Christmas and Easter weekends. For Oct–Jan travel, block 6–8 weeks out. Off-season we can usually confirm in 24 hours.
