Getting in and out of Guwahati without losing an hour
LGBI airport is at Borjhar, west of the city and about 20 km from Paltan Bazar. That is a 45-minute drive at 6AM and closer to 90 minutes at 6PM. Because Borjhar sits on the Shillong side of town, a client landing in the evening and going straight up does not need to enter the city at all — we route around it and quote the real time rather than pretend the drive is three hours.
Airport pickups happen from the paid parking bay, not the kerb. The driver waits at the arrivals exit with a name board, and the parking fee is charged at actuals — it is one of the few things not inside the fare.
