Tezpur is where a Tawang trip gets its supplies. Drivers fill up here and again at Bhalukpong, because after that the pumps are sparse and occasionally dry. If your group needs cash, medicines or a SIM top-up, this is the town to do it in.
Salonibari airport is small but useful: a client flying into Tezpur saves the 180 km Guwahati drive entirely. Flights are limited and cancel for weather, so we do not build tight onward connections off them.
